Project Lifecycle: October 2022 – February 2023
Status: 100% Completed
This project involved the end-to-end design, procurement, and installation of a professional-grade Lorex 4K Security Camera System. The primary objective was to establish a high-definition surveillance network to deter theft, monitor activity, and improve overall facility safety. The deployment followed a structured six-phase project management framework.
Conception & Initiation: Defined project goals, reviewed site plans, and conducted vendor outreach and bidding.
Definition & Planning: Established the official budget and created a detailed Work Breakdown Schedule and Gantt Chart. This phase included mapping 4K camera locations for both indoor and outdoor coverage.
Launch & Execution: Managed the physical installation, which involved mounting cameras and running Cat6 network wiring to designated switch ports.
Performance & Control: Conducted objective execution and quality checks, ensuring all NVR (Network Video Recorder) software was configured for 24/7 data backup and remote access.
Project Close: Finalized the project with a postmortem, punchlist completion, and stakeholder audit of the final reports and drawings.
High-Fidelity Surveillance: Integrated Lorex 4K cameras featuring color night vision and motion-activated spotlights.
Network Infrastructure: A fully labeled and documented network cabling system designed for long-term maintenance and reliability.
Centralized Management: A configured NVR system supporting continuous recording and integrated siren alerts for detected motion.
